What does sekuwa taste like?

Sekuwa has a rich, smoky flavour from being grilled over an open flame. The marinade of spices like cumin, coriander, ginger, and garlic gives it a savoury and slightly spicy taste.

The level of spice can vary. At Little Nepal Cuisine, our sekuwa is flavourful with a balanced level of heat.

What is the difference between sekuwa and other grilled meats?

The main difference is the unique blend of Nepalese spices used in the marinade, especially Timur (Sichuan pepper), and the traditional grilling method over a wood or charcoal fire.
